S&C Professional Development

This course is:

  • Internationally recognised.
  • Perfect for those looking to build their skills in high performance, coaching, physiotherapy or exercise physiology.
  • 16hrs (2 days).

Everything is practical, real world and hands on. Guidance is provided and students are allowed to make mistakes in an almost consequence-free environment.

This week-end course covers Strength & Conditioning principles and is presented by a Level 3 Strength & Conditioning Coach/Accredited Exercise Physiologist.

The PropelPerform refund policy is limited to the following circumstances & timeframes only:

Notification of withdrawal in writing 4 weeks prior to course date: REFUND LESS 20% ADMIN FEE
Notification of withdrawal in writing less than 4 weeks prior to course date: NO REFUND

Note: Refunds will not be given for partial attendance nor will make up lessons be provided.

If, for any reason, you do not attend the full 2 days then you will be required to transfer to the next available course and pay the appropriate transfer fee.

Transfer Fee:

Request to transfer to another course less than 4 weeks prior to the course or no attendance at the course you are registered for will incur a $150.00 Inc. GST transfer fee.

Junior Sport Science Symposium VIII

In Australia there are many sports which have clear pathways through schools and clubs, which provide coaching, Strength & Conditioning and perhaps nutrition advice.

There are even more sports where the Parents/Athletes have to source their own coaching, employ their own Strength & Conditioning Coach and seek advice on how to progress.

In many respects, the Parent plays a similar role to football High Performance Managers.

Grant will be discussing answers to common questions like:

  • What to look for in a Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Physical Therapist?
  • Why every young athlete should have an Annual Plan and why they should be active in planning it?
  • How to communicate with a coach?
  • Why letting your child fail and fall might be the best thing for them?
  • How to prevent burn out?
